What is a Financial Advisor? What Are Their Duties?
In general terms, financial consultancy refers to a professional group authorized by the state in matters such as keeping books and making declarations with the professional law numbered 3568. In order to become a financial advisor, one must have a 4-year undergraduate degree in law, economics, finance, business administration, accounting, banking, public administration and political sciences. After undergraduate education, financial advisor candidates who pass the qualification exams are expected to do an internship for 3 years.

What are the General Duties of Financial Advisors?
- To follow the procedures related to the Chamber of Commerce, Tax Office, SSI for the establishment of companies
- Establishing and developing accounting systems in newly established and ongoing businesses
- Collecting income and expense invoices from taxpayers and processing them into accounting programs or electronic ledgers
- Preparing payrolls at the end of the month and sending them to the taxpayer
- Preparing financial statements such as balance sheet, income statement according to the records entered
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and receiving accrual receipts by approving them electronically
- To ensure that the tax is paid by sending the accrual receipts to the taxpayers
- Writing various special purpose determination reports such as capital increase, VAT refund
- Assisting taxpayers in transactions such as merger, division, transfer, liquidation as well as establishment transactions
- To carry out works such as change of address, change of activity
